True Strike

True Strike is a show that I originally discovered while looking for podcasts that were discussing the Daggerheart playtest content. After hearing Critical Role's one shot showcasing Daggerheart I was very interested in learning more about the system and added episodes from a few shows that were covering the playtest material to check out. Out of the few that I picked, True Strike was the one that I have stuck with long term and have even built a relationship with the hosts of the show.

While I originally listened to the show for the Daggerheart content, I have been kept around by their other regular content, which is general TTRPG discussion as well as some feature actual play episodes. Since I have started listening, they have continued to talk about D&D (and I look forward to their thoughts on the 2024 edition), a handful of other indie TTRPGs, and even a few actual play sessions to highlight those indie games. One of these actual play sessions, featuring The Bite RPG, even inspired me to reach out to the hosts and offer to do a guest production of that episode and turn it into an audio drama!
