After years of using Windows Explorer to sort, manage, and use my various songs, ambiences, and sound effects for Adventures in Erylia, I learned about a useful tool called a Sample Manager. After looking into a few I have decided to add Sample Librarian to my regular workflow.
It is World Ember time once again! Damian the DM will be pushing to hit his 10k this year!
There’s a lot going on with Adventures in Erylia as we get ready to say goodbye to 2021. This week we’re changing format for our newsletter to get you all up to speed!
Damian the DM got the amazing opportunity to sit down with Gabe and Jeff from Inter-Party Conflict and talk all about actual play podcasting.
Hey Adventurers! Boy has it been a while. There have been quite a few ups and downs in the time since writing the last newsletter, but I think things are turning up right now. A couple weeks ago I broke down and gave an open account of what I have been struggling with over the last couple months. I promised a newsletter to help get things back on track and the more I’ve been writing this the happier I have been about how things are going!
Damian the DM opens up about what is going on with Adventures in Erylia and why nothing has come out for months.
I feel like for how much I had to write about last month, even more has happened in this past month. Some of these big news items weren’t even on our radar at the start of April, and yet here we are. All in all, April ended up being quite the eventful month for us! We have a few minor bits of podcast news, but the excitement this month really comes from real life stuff, like getting covid shots and making mead!
Where did February go? I mean, I know it is the shortest month, but that doesn’t mean it’s not there! It’s got important things in it, like my birthday! And yet, there was no monthly newsletter for February. I want to say I kept meaning to write something, but I think it ultimately didn’t happen because at the start of my break, I was just taking the time off to recharge a bit. So you’re kinda getting two months in one here, and this is quite the read. We’ve got podcast updates, streaming updates, mead updates, and a huge map making update this month!
I touched on this a bit during the last newsletter, but with the entirety of the Mieveht Story - Arc 1 being remastered, I am going to be taking a decent break from editing. It is going to be at least 4 week, possibly even longer. While I am happy to have decided to fill the time since we have not been able to record with this remaster project, it has been rough.
